Talk In Code release new single “Tides”Anthemic Indie-Pop Pioneers make waves in Swindon with new single “Tides”www.talkincode.co.uk www.facebook.com/talkincode
Talk In Code are a band on the rise, set to follow in the footsteps of indie-pop heavy weights after recording their self-titled debut album with producer Geoff Swan (Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Years & Years, Haim). The band come out of their corner with all guns blazing, throwing huge pop hooks and anthemic synth upper cuts and unsurprisingly have already gained the attention of BBC Introducing and Q Music.
The band already boast a number of high profile support slots including the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen and Amber Run with the rock four-piece hitting the road later this year with 90’s sensation My Life Story. Such eminent exposure has seen the band pen a deal with General Overseas Music reaching out towards international licensing deals.
The band follows an extensive festival schedule with the summer-vibe packed single “Tides”. Released 9th November 2015, the song explores tide as a metaphor, comparing it to that of the movement in a relationship. Driving and danceable, the drums and bass reflect the changing power of unknown waters with sparkles of guitar and synth that glimmer like the sun. Dark lyrical undertones from front man Chris Stevens echo the dangers that lay beneath the surface while the bright, soaring vocals boast the anthemic pop sensibilities Talk In Code are now notorious for.
