Belfast new comers ‘The Emerald Armada’ left music industry delegates and punters gobsmacked earlier this year at The Great Escape festival in Brighton with their righteous racket of foot-stomping sing along killer songs.

With their whirlwind UK tour under their belts and the release of their debut self titled EP, 2012 has certainly been ­ground breaking for these young Irish folksters.

And what better way to round off the year than being invited to support both Newton Faulkner and Brian Houston at their low key shows next month.
