Donna Air is Dancing on Ice's ninth celebrity skater

Donna Air has been confirmed as the ninth celebrity to compete in Dancing on Ice 2018.  The news was confirmed during a live TV interview on today's Loose Women.

Donna has met her professional partner and will now embark on training ahead of the new series, which returns to ITV in the New Year.

The 12 celebrities will be skating to impress the ice panel, consisting of skating legends Torvill and Dean, show favourite Jason Gardiner and one remaining judge, as well as the viewers at home.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby return to host the show.

Donna joins previously confirmed celebrities Brooke Vincent, Cheryl Baker, Kem Cetinay, Candice Brown, Max Evans, Jake Quickenden, Monty Panesar and Alex Beresford.

Donna said "It is absolutely terrifying. It's exciting though, it's looking like it's going to be a great series. It's really difficult. Apparently my posture's terrible so I've got to work on that. I need to build more core strength. My daughter's like 'oh no, mum you're going to be so embarrassing."
