Veteran unscripted creator, producer and network executive Mioshi Hill – formerly vice president of non-fiction programming at Lifetime – has been tapped as president of ITV America’s Sirens Media, it was announced today by ITV America CEO David George.

Hill will lead the pop culture and lifestyle-focused production label behind Bravo’s iconic The Real Housewives of New Jersey, among other reality content such as Snapchat hit Nikita Unfiltered and the platform’s upcoming Honestly Loren (starring influencer Loren Gray), TBS’s exotic social experiment Lost Resort and an upcoming comedic docuseries for Netflix.

Former Sirens President Jessica Sebastian-Dayeh is departing to pursue a new independent venture after five years with the company. Hill assumes her new role at the top of February.

Hill joined Lifetime in 2016 and, as VP of non-fiction programming, developed and oversaw the network’s robust unscripted slate, shepherding projects in genres spanning true crime, relationship-based social experiments, character-driven docusoaps and stunt series. Her credits include upcoming dating project Swipe Swap (executive produced by Sarah Jessica Parker and produced by ITV America); Little Women: LA; Finding Justice, starring renowned survivor advocate Elizabeth Smart; Laurieann Gibson: Beyond the Spotlight; Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid; Vivica’s Black Magic, starring Vivica A. Fox; and the upcoming true crime movie and companion series Cellmate Secrets. Hill also recently expanded her development purview, working with the Lifetime Originals team on multiple scripted movies slated for 2021.

Prior to Lifetime, Hill spent more than 10 years in independent production. She served as senior vice president of development and creative affairs at Los Angeles-based Hud:sun Media, overseeing cross-platform creative, production and business development, and executive producing projects including E!’s House of DVF, starring iconic designer Diane von Furstenberg, and The Fabulist; Oxygen’s Living Different and I’m Having Their Baby; Bravo’s Pregnant in Heels, and OWN’s The Doc Club with Rosie O’Donnell. She also was integral in building Hud:sun’s digital slate, including the launch of CondéNast Entertainment’s digital channels across Glamour, GQ and Teen Vogue.

Before Hud:sun, Hill was on the development team at High Noon Entertainment (now an ITV America company), working across its robust slate of lifestyle programming – including TLC hit Cake Boss, among other series – developing concepts, and researching and casting new projects.

“We’ve had the privilege of working with Mioshi as a network partner at Lifetime and were continually impressed with her creative instincts and skilled leadership as an executive,” said George. “For us, this also feels like a wonderful homecoming with someone whose career began at High Noon; it’s been incredibly impressive to watch Mioshi build on her successes in independent production with an outstanding tenure at Lifetime. We’re extremely proud of the Sirens brand built by Jessica and the team over the years, and look forward to the label’s next chapter with Mioshi at the helm.”

Added Hill, “I’m excited to build upon Sirens’ legacy of edgy, pop culture savvy storytelling. As our industry continues to experience this content renaissance and explosion, with fresh voices surfacing across all platforms, ITV America continues to be a leader in story innovation and premier production. I’m honored to join their ranks, which consist of some of the best creative and production minds in the business and cannot wait to dive in. With the ITV team behind us, Sirens is poised for continued success and a new wave of provocative, genre-busting and immensely entertaining content that leaves an impression.”
