Iggy Azalea on JLo collaboration: 'I used to lip-sync to her songs as a kid'

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has revealed that being asked to collaborate with Jennifer Lopez was a real 'wow' moment for her because she grew up listening to her music.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM about the duet, the 'Fancy' beauty explained that she's a huge fan of JLo so it was great to be asked to feature on the track:

"I love her. I definitely used to sit in my bedroom as a young girl and lip-sync Jennifer Lopez songs, so it’s very cool to have a song with her on her album." When asked to talk about the song she appears on, Azalea added that it's a secret for the moment: "She actually only asked me about two weeks ago, so I didn’t have to keep the secret for too long. When I opened on tour for Beyoncé, I had to keep that under wraps for months, which really killed me. So this is a breeze.”

Earlier this month, Lopez confirmed that her highly anticipated new album will be called 'A.K.A' and revealed that it will be released later this year. Speaking about the cut to Seacrest, JLo explained: "It’s good! It was my 10th album, and in my mind, I was so stuck on it being something I was really proud of...and I am."
