Iggy Azalea reveals how she got Katy Perry to give her 'Black Widow'

Australian rap sensation Iggy Azalea has revealed that her song 'Black Widow' was originally Katy Perry's although she managed to convince the pop beauty to give it to her for her own debut album.

The track is now included on Azalea's record, 'The New Classic', and features guest vocals from Rita Ora, and she confessed to Ryan Seacrest that timing worked in her favour because Perry had already released her latest record so she just decided to hand the track over entirely instead of just asking her to appear on it:

"She had just put her album out. So I said, ‘Hey, Katy, why don’t you let me take this and do something for it? I have an album that’s just about to drop. And I would love to see it kind of come out for the world to hear asap.’ And she said ‘Alright.’”

Azalea has also recorded a duet with JLo, for the superstar's new record, and admitted that it was a dream come true because she's always been such a huge fan of Lopez's: I love her. I definitely used to sit in my bedroom as a young girl and lip-sync Jennifer Lopez songs, so it’s very cool to have a song with her on her album."
