Iggy Azalea bags US chart record

Iggy Azalea has broken a US chart record.

The Australian rapper's hit song 'Fancy' has now spent a sixth week at the top of the Billboard singles chart.

This means that she has become the female rapper with the longest run at No.1 on the chart.

The previous record holder was Lil' Kim with her song 'Lady Marmalade', which topped the Hot 100 in 2001.

'Fancy', which features Charli XCX, sold 178,000 downloads this week and racked up 11.1 million streams.

Azalea meanwhile has confirmed that she will release the track 'Black Widow' as her next single.

The song features Rita Ora and was co-written by Katy Perry.
