Iggy Azalea has been confirmed to perform at this year's American Music Awards.

The ceremony is taking place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on November 23 and Azalea is the latest name to be added to the bill.

She joins a line-up that already features One Direction, Lorde, Fergie, Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith, Charli XCX and 5 Seconds of Summer.

The Australian rapper is nominated for six gongs at the awards - the most of any artist.

She will vie for prizes like the Artist of the Year and Single of the Year awards.
