Iggy Azalea doesn't want to be involved in Rita Ora's 'Lady Marmalade'

Iggy Azalea says she doesn't want to feature in a remake of 'Lady Marmalade'.

Rita Ora recently said in an interview that she wanted to bring together a number of top female stars - including Miley Cyrus and Charli XCX - to cover the song.

Azalea was also mooted - but it seems the rapper isn't keen on taking part.

She wrote on Twitter on Monday (October 12): "Please leave me out of the whole Lady Marmalade conversation.

"I have nothing to do with ritas ideas & agree it should be left alone. Thanks."

Ora previously said about the plan: "It's always been my goal to create another 'Lady Marmalade'.

"I'm trying to round up the troops - I think it would be me, Miley, Charli XCX - she'd be fun - and Iggy."

The track, first recorded by Labelle in 1975, was famously covered by Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mýa and P!nk in 2001.

That version was recorded for the soundtrack to movie Moulin Rouge.
