Iggy Azalea expresses her views about negative comments online

'Team' hitmaker Iggy Azalea has revealed that it's really hard to exist online in this day and age because there are so many trolls waiting to pounce.

During a chat with Ellen DeGeneres, the beauty admitted that she sometimes has to take a break from the Internet because negative comments can wear her down:

"I'm good now. I just think there's this really weird place on the Internet where -- we call them 'trolls' and there's just a lot of people that take great joy in saying really awful things to people."

When asked if she thinks people send her such vile abuse because of her skin colour and the fact that she is a white rapper, Azalea explained:

"I don't think it does. I love to make music. I think people should be able to make whatever kind of music they want as long as it's entertaining and not hurting anybody and people are singing along and feeling happy about it and I don't think there's anything wrong with that."
