Premiere: Ludacris - Rest of My Life ft. Usher and David Guetta

Three-time Grammy Award® winner Ludacris returns with "Rest Of My Life," the 3rd single off his 8th studio album, LUDAVERSAL, scheduled for early 2013 release on DTP/Def Jam Recordings, a division of the Island Def Jam Music Group. “Rest Of My Life” impacts November 19th, at Top 40 and Rhythm radio formats.

Soaring and atmospheric, “Rest Of My Life” was produced by international superstar DJ David Guetta and marks Ludacris’ reunion with fellow hitmaker Usher. Destined for dancefloors, the high-energy sizzler “Rest Of My Life” follows Ludacris’ current single “Representin,” a smash collaboration with R&B starlet Kelly Rowland. “Representin” has already aired on more than 60 Urban major market radio stations reaching more than 10 million people.

Rest Of My Life” continues what has been a banner 2012 for Ludacris, on the strength of several prominent collaborations. The epic “Tonight,” alongsideEnrique Iglesias, soared to #1 on the Billboard Top 40 and peaked at #4 on the Billboard Top 100 and #6 on the Rhythmic chart. And he scored with another “Tonight,” this time with soulful crooner John Legend, scalding the #1 spot on the urban Adult Contemporary chart.  Elsewhere, he showed his versatility with the aptly-named upstart Future; their “Same Damn Time” joint effort reached #9 on the Urban chart.

LUDAVERSAL is Ludacris’s first album since 2010’s The Battle Of The Sexes—his fifth #1 Billboard career album and third #1 SoundScan debut. His RIAA gold–certified seventh solo studio release, The Battle of the Sexes spun off a pair of massive pop/R&B/Rap crossover hits: "How Low," the #1 Urban Radio smash (#6 pop/ #2 R&B/#1 Rap) and its follow-up, "My Chick Bad" featuring Nicki Minaj (#11 pop/ #2 R&B/ #2 Rap), both certified RIAA platinum for U.S. sales in excess of one million units. Elsewhere, and quite literally, Ludacris shows no signs of slowing down. He is currently shooting the sixth installment of the iconic Fast and Furiousfranchise—reprising his role as Tej. This next iteration features fellow incumbents Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

This is the latest film in what is now a decade-long acting resumé for Ludacris, real name Christopher Bridges. Just last year, he co-starred in a trio of major motion pictures: Ivan Reitman's No Strings Attached (Paramount, starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher); Justin Lin's Fast Five (Universal, latest segment in epic franchise starring Vin Diesel); and Garry Marshall's all-star New Year's Eve (New Line Cinema, starring Halle Berry, Hillary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, and many others).

Ludacris first achieved major acting recognition for his role in the Oscar Award-winning Crash (2005); he won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, and shared the SAG Award for Best Ensemble, as well as the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Ensemble.

In addition to Ludacris' music and acting endeavors, he is an accomplished entrepreneur with interests in electronics ("Soul By Ludacris" headphones), restaurants, and wine & spirits ("Conjure Cognac") to name a few. Furthermore, Ludacris is notably involved in philanthropy and his commitment to give back, with his charity The Ludacris Foundation.
