James Arthur has confirmed plans to play in London next month.

The singer will take to the stage at the indigo at The O2 in London on July 11.

The show is part of the Musicalize series and ticket information will be made public on Friday (June 6).

Arthur said on Twitter: "Exciting news! I'm playing in London VERY soon. July 11th @IndigoAtTheO2 headlining the next @Musicalize show! Ticket info Friday #LOVE."

The singer meanwhile recently reiterated that he hasn't been dropped from label Syco.

The X Factor 2012 winner said in an interview: "People make up stories...which is something I'm not really sure how to handle, I don't know what to say about it. As far as I know I've got a record deal and nothing's changed. 

"Obviously Syco and X Factor won't be happy with some of the things I've said against the brand which weren't intended in the way they've been taken."
