Former X Factor winner James Arthur has revealed that the next few months will bring exciting "epic and sincere" things. 

The musician is currently putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated new studio album and told fans that the wait will be well worth it, tweeting:

"More epic and sincere thanks to come over the coming months to you fans, but just a quick one now to say cheers for inspiring me everyday."

On July 11 he confirmed that his new record was "being mixed" and he also announced that he will be performing live in Birmingham at Shard Fest on July 23: "I will be live on stage at @shardfest in Birmingham July 23rd first UK show for a while . Come down!"
