James Arthur set to land first UK No.1 album

James Arthur is in pole position to secure his first No.1 album in the UK.

The singer's new effort 'Back From The Edge' is leading the race on the midweek update on Monday (October 31).

It is currently 6,000 units ahead of Courteeners' fellow new entry 'Mapping The Rendezvous'.

Elvis Presley's 'The Wonder Of You' slips from No.1 to No.3, while Madness debut at No.4 with 'Can't Touch Us Now'.

Rounding off the midweek top five is Michael Bublé's 'Nobody But Me', which falls three spots.

Among the other new entries this week are Jack Savoretti's 'Sleep No More', which enters at No.6, and 'The Stage' by Avenged Sevenfold at No.8.

Roy Orbison's 'The Ultimate Collection' and Daniel O'Donnell's 'I Have A Dream' are in at No.10 and No.11.
