Jay Z will perform in Ohio in November to encourage locals to side with Hillary Clinton in the US presidential vote.

The rapper will play the Get Out The Vote show on November 4 - just four days before polls open.

He will be joined by a number of special guests on the day. The venue has not been announced yet.

Jay Z performed similar shows for Clinton's fellow Democrat Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.

Billboard report that a large turnout for Clinton in Ohio's African American community could be vital for the presidential hopeful.

Tickets for the show will be available from near the Cuyahoga Country Board of elections at 3030 Euclid Avenue between Friday and Sunday.

From Monday, tickets will be available from the Hillary for Ohio campaign offices.
