Saturday Night Live (SNL) returned last night (September 30) with Ryan Gosling hosting the show for a second time, and Jay-Z as the muscial guest.

Jay-Z wore a Colin Kaepernick jersey to show his support to the former San Francisco 49er quarterback who was dropped in August 2016 when he refused "to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color".

Jay-Z performed "Jam" with Damian Marley who held up an Ethiopian flag throughout the entire set. The Tidal founder then sang "I Apologize".

Elsewhere in the comedy sketch show Alec Baldwin returned with his infamous Donald Trump impersonation (see below), to tackle the current devastation of Puerto Rico.

Tidal is to charter a plane on October 7 with 200,000 pounds of supplies to Puerto Rico after starting to collect donations with the aid of celebrities yesterday (September 30). 

The streaming platform will also donate 100% of ticket proceeds from its third annual Tidal X:Brooklyn event starring Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled to those affected by the recent natural disasters (Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria and the Mexico earthquakes).
