It was announced yesterday that Jennifer Hudson had been hospitalised with severe abdominal pains and now her representative has confirmed that it was just a bad case of "food poisoning". 

The 'Dreamgirls' star had a whirlwind morning of both press and performances planned (June 10), but skipped out on the CBS Early Show Outdoor Concert Series show after falling ill.

Luckily for the singer and actress, it was nothing too serious and her spokesperson explained in a statement to TMZ that she is now fine:

"After performing on Good Morning America earlier today, Jennifer Hudson went to the hospital due to severe abdominal pains. She was treated for food poisoning and released."
