Jennifer Hudson opens a weight loss centre
Singer and Oscar-winning actress, Jennifer Hudson, has opened up a weight loss centre following her own weight loss of over 80 pounds in Chicago today.
The 30-year-old, who rose to fame during 2004's American Idol, was on the Weight Watchers diet programme, and she plans to open the centre to help others using their diet plan.
The actress opened the Jennifer Hudson Weight Watchers Centre in her hometown of Chicago.
Weight Watchers have said that they will donate a portion of the centre's income to a foundation in honour of Hudson's late nephew, Julian King, who was killed in 2008. Her mother and brother were also killed.
The actress, who won her Oscar for her role in Dreamgirls, recently told People Magazine that she is delighted that she gone down in her dress size:
"I'm prouder of my weight loss than my Oscar!"
