Jennifer Hudson disappointed with photoshopped album cover

Jennifer Hudson may be over the moon with her svelte new figure, but has revealed that she can't help but feel disheartened by the fact that her debut album's cover was photoshopped to make her look thinner.

The singer has worked incredibly hard to shed the pounds over the past two years and even became an ambassador for Weight Watchers so feels disappointed that her waistline was edited to look smaller on the photograph that covers her self-titled debut record.

Speaking on Sunday night's (January 8) Dateline, she explained that although the unfair photoshopping incident was four years ago it has sent out a somewhat superficial message to her fans who look up to her after losing around 80lbs the natural way:

"It was like, 'Where is the rest of me?' They photoshopped me, probably to the size I am now, on that cover but we all know I was nowhere near that. Why would you photoshop that? And to me it did not send out a good message. It did not represent me. Did I not just prove that talent is enough - if I made it this far being who I am, being the size I am, the image that I am?"
