The NN North Sea Jazz Festival has announced the first wave of artists confirmed to perform at this summer’s event, which will take place at the Ahoy Centre in Rotterdam from 12-14th July 2019. The world’s largest indoor music festival will offer an array of international stars, jazz icons and pioneering acts from across the worlds of jazz, soul, blues, hip-hop, RnB and more, including much-adored Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper, trailblazing hit-maker Janelle Monáe, Grammy-winning superstar Ms. Lauryn Hill and contemporary jazz pioneer Kamasi Washington.

Also confirmed to perform at the 44th edition of Rotterdam’s famous event are six-time Grammy award winner Burt Bacharach, iconic jazz stars Diana Krall and multi-million selling Jamie Cullum, the legendary rock/pop group Toto, unrivalled solo-voice master Bobby McFerrin and British soul powerhouse Rag’n’Bone Man, as well as a long list of upcoming genre-blurring acts and artists such as The Internet, H.E.R, Jacob Banks and Masego.

Less than an hour’s plane-ride away or a direct train from London St Pancras, the North Sea Jazz Festival is easily accessible from the UK and has built an unrivalled reputation since its inception in 1976 as one of the most unique and eclectic events in the musical calendar.
