Joe Jonas has revealed that he used to date fans.

The singer promoted a clean-cut image whilst he was a member of the Jonas Brothers, but it seems he wasn't quite all innocent.

The US star admitted to Vulture magazine that he has previously "taken advantage" of his fame when it comes to enjoying some passion with fans. He said:

"Yes, I’ve dated fans. I can’t say that I’ve never put a foot in that world; there were times when I definitely took advantage of the opportunities I had."

The 24-year-old recalled one occasion where he asked a fan along to a film and subsequently spent the entire time kissing. Jonas said:

"I remember I invited a fan to a movie, and we just made out the entire time. I don’t even remember what the movie was about. I must have been 16 or so. Afterward, I was kind of freaking out, because I thought she’d go public and the whole world would find out. Luckily, she never did, I think because she assumed there’d be another meet-up down the road."

As previously reported, Jonas said in the same interview that Miley Cyrus and former girlfriend Demi Lovato introduced him to marijuana when he was a teenager.

The Jonas Brothers meanwhile split in October as they were midway through recording their next album.
