Katy B has explained that although some of her songs were written with certain people in mind, she would never name and shame them. 

Speaking to the Daily Star, she revealed that unlike her fellow BRIT school alumna Adele, she doesn't like to kiss and tell:

"There are love songs and a bit of heartache there but it’s not like Adele’s album."

“She’s more like: ‘I’ve had three boyfriends and this is about the first one and this about the second one,’ but I couldn’t do that. Obviously there are certain songs about certain people but the line is more blurred."

The 'Broken Record' singer added:

"It’s more about the emotion or friends than just one person.”

She also made it clear that she doesn't want to be pigeonholed as a dubstep artist:

“I don’t think I’m just a dubstep artist. I prefer funky because it incorporates more elements I’m into, like house, soul, drum and bass, breaks and big basslines.”
