Kele Okereke, the frontman of Bloc Party, has revealed that he is currently writing a piece of short fiction and he feels "destined" to work on a novel.

Speaking to Britain's GQ magazine, the 'Banquet' hitmaker explained that literature is as much of a passion as music and he has been indulging this love lately:

"I'm writing a collection of short stories at the moment. I feel like it was a very eye-opening experience writing those stories but I've already started to think about writing a novel. I think that's what I'm destined to do."

Earlier this week (March 4), Okereke released a book of song lyrics entitled 'The Lyrics Of Okereke' and of the project he said: "It is quite an honour to see all these lyrics in their correct forms bound in such an exquisite book. Its truly humbling and I hope these words move the readers as much as I have been moved writing them.”
