Kobalt Music Group

Kobalt today announced the recent hiring of Sebastien Cayla as Director of Synch and Brand Partnerships, France & Belgium. Based in Paris, Sebastien will oversee synch & brand partnerships within the territory for Kobalt & AWAL. This addition strengthens Kobalt and AWAL’s continued growth to support artists and labels around the world, following recent AWAL hire Delphine Ferre, AWAL Marketing Director for France.

Commenting on the new hire, President of Global Synch and Brand Partnerships Jeannette Perez said, "Sebastien is a highly respected executive with a proven track record of success in synch, brand partnerships and overall client service. Sebastien will be integral to our growth as we continue to expand our footprint in France & Belgium.”

Sebastien joins Kobalt with more than 20 years of industry experience from gig promoter for indie artists like Radiohead, The Divine Comedy and Pulp to his 15 year career at Warner Chappell Music France where he most recently led as Head of Synch. He placed a historic deal for France with Michael Jackson’s “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” synchronised on the French national lottery TV commercial, and more recently contributed to putting some alternative and new acts on the map including Lily Wood & The Prick for Guerlain, Prequell for Mugler, Hyphen Hyphen for Armani, YSL Beauty, Is Tropical for L’Oreal

“I believe our future is in our hands and that’s why I’m so glad to join Kobalt, a company putting Artists first while integrating the best technology has to offer,” says Sebastien. “I’ve learned a lot from my past experiences and I am thrilled to go further with this amazing company that is definitely the future of music.”
