Kobalt today announced global producer and DJ, Carnage, has signed a publishing deal. The deal includes a full range of creative, synch, and administration services for his catalog and future works.

Carnage, also known as Papi Gordo, has taken the stages of Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland all while producing his debut studio album Papi Gordo, which immediately became a #1 Dance Album in the United States. Carnage's hit song "I Like Tuh" with ILoveMakonnen became a top 30 track on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, later becoming RIAA-Gold certified. Once producing music for unknown artists, today, Carnage's collaborators include a long list of icons including Migos, Mac Miller, Lil Pump, Steve Aoki, and more.

"Carnage is an incredible producer and DJ," said Creative VP, Kobalt, Dominique Keegan. "His career has shown an extensive range of production styles ranging from hip-hop to electronic pop and his upcoming music showcases a truly global sound with an American twist. Carnage has some big records coming with huge artist features on board!"

Commenting on the deal, DJ Carnage said, "I couldn't be happier to officially be joining the Kobalt family. Kobalt is built for creatives like me and will really help me grow in a world of all things digital music. I am thrilled to be ending this crazy year on a high note by working with Kobalt to take my publishing to the next level."

Added Medium Rare Co-founder and Carnage Managers, Adam Richman and Joe Silberzweig, "Kobalt provides Carnage the unique structure he needs to be successful as a true creative producer. This new partnership will help make the complex world of publishing rewarding for Carnage and allow him even more artistic freedom."

In 2020, Carnage has not slowed down, continuing to push music boundaries. During this year's pandemic, Carnage pioneered the drive-in concert wave, producing the first drive-in festival in the US. "Road Rave", taking place in Arizona, was the first of the COVID-era phenomena. In addition, Carnage just completed a sold out RARE Fest, his festival brand, in Thailand where domestic cases of COVID have been eliminated. Carnage continues to innovate and his highly anticipated new album, with a slew of top tier features, is set to be released with Ultra Records in 2021.
