‘Booky’ - When someone is behaving strange/weird/suspicious

Armed with a hard-drive full of new tracks, this latest release from Herts based urban singer/songwriter Tai is another mark on why this 20 year old could be the next big thing.

This most recent track has bought together a trio of extremely talented youngsters featuring 20 year old up and coming rapper Raph3al and talented North London based producer Xelavate.

Working with Xelavate on previous records Tai has formed a great musical relationship with this exciting young producer who has also appeared with Tai on Live performances and has previously released tracks of his own. The latest feature from Raph3al came about after Tai heard him in the studio, really drawn to his fast, current lyrical style feeling he would be a perfect fit for a feature on Booky.

The song Booky is about a strong female who is refusing to put up with ‘booky’ behaviour from her partner. She is laying down the law and he is intimidated by her strength.
It was inspired by some lyrics Tai had written years ago and she just built the rest of the lyrics around the beat and created a story.
