  • First Concert Series Set For Summer 2015

Neapolitan Live Events has today confirmed the signing of a 5 year deal with Blenheim Palace, Britain’s greatest palace, and will invest £2.5million to bring live music back to this historic Oxfordshire venue in June 2015, the first time in a decade.

The series of concerts, for a capacity daily audience of 10,000, will once again be situated in the Great Court within the palace walls looking out across the lake. The concerts will continue the Blenheim Palace tradition of hosting both legendary and world-class talent which in the past has included Diana Ross, Rod Stewart and many more.

The return of music events to Blenheim Palace, the spectacular family seat of the Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is the result of years of planning by Neapolitan Live Events whose CEO Ciro Romano launched the critically acclaimed Love Supreme Jazz Festival last year at Glynde Place. Trevor Bowen, the former director of Principle Management (U2 and PJ Harvey), has recently joined as Chairman of Neapolitan Live Events.

Ciro Romano, Neapolitan Live Events CEO said: “It is a huge honour to be entrusted by the Duke of Marlborough to bring music back to this great palace. We are determined to bring the aristocrats of modern music to grace Blenheim Palace and produce concerts that will live long in the memory.”

The Duke of Marlborough, commenting on the planned concert series, said: “We are delighted to be working with Neapolitan Live Events in order to bring concerts back into the Great Court here at Blenheim Palace in June 2015.      Such a stunning world heritage setting deserves the very finest musical offering and we look forward to staging some memorable events here next summer.”

The Blenheim Palace series of concerts will also provide a premium luxury experience, featuring world-class VIP hospitality, pop-up restaurants, champagne bars, canapé reception and a unforgettable dining experience in Blenheim Palace’s Staterooms,  The Orangery or waterside gazebos.

Blenheim Palace is set in 2100 acres of spectacular ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland in the heart of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The 300 year old palace is a World Heritage site and is one of the UK”s most famous and best loved stately homes located just 8 miles out of Oxford.

Neapolitan Live Events is supported by Station 12, a private equity company focused on media and entertainment in Europe. Patrick Bradley, its founder, will join the Board as a non- executive director.
