Historic Royal Palaces and IMG today reveal that due to popular demand UK indie rockers Elbow have announced a second date at Hampton Court Palace Festival 2022. They will now play on Friday 10 June, in addition to their previously announced Saturday evening performance on 11 June. Elbow join an impressive line-up of artists set to perform at Henry VIII’s former home, including Kacey Musgraves, McFly, The Human League, Jack Savoretti and Crowded House. Tickets are on sale Thursday 24 February at 10AM at www.hamptoncourtpalacefestival.com.
Since forming in the 90’s in Bury, Manchester, cinematic rock quintet Elbow have become one of the UK’s most successful rock bands, widely renowned for their orchestral sounds, and frontman Guy Garvey’s emotive lyrics. The band have released nine studio albums and received a Mercury Music Prize and a BRIT Award, they are sure to delight their loyal legion of fans with classic hits including ‘One Day Like This’ and ‘Grounds For Divorce’, plus new tracks from recently released album ‘Flying Dream 1’.
Hampton Court Palace Festival is a series of truly special and unique open-air concerts. Artists perform in an intimate 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace.
