Tom Boland has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Studio 1 and LIT. Starting today, Boland will lead marketing, brand partnerships, and ad products across the Studio 1 portfolio, including LIT, a rolling entertainment news network with a global audience of over 70M across a growing list of leading OTT providers, including Peacock, VIZIO Smartcast and Plex.

Boland, a veteran WarnerMedia executive, was Turner’s Vice President of Social Strategy and Solutions for Sports, News, and Entertainment. In that role, he led the paid social strategy for CNN, Bleacher Report, Adult Swim, and Team Coco. As Vice President of Marketing Partnerships at Warner Bros., he developed branded entertainment and marketing solutions for TMZ, Extra, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Rotten Tomatoes, and DC Comics. Prior to joining WarnerMedia, Boland held leadership roles at Ogilvy & Mather, WWE, and Digitas.

Boland, who is based in New York, joins Studio 1 co-founders and co-CEOs, Claudia Rosencrantz and Adrian Woolfe, who founded Studio 1 at the end of 2018. Rosencrantz and Woolfe introduced the world to such iconic brands as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Love Island, The X Factor, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Hell’s Kitchen, Pop Idol, Got Talent, and more.

“We’re thrilled to have Tom join Studio 1 and LIT. He brings his breadth of media and marketing expertise into the fold,” said Adrian Woolfe. “We couldn’t be more excited for all that’s ahead, as we continue to grow rapidly and expand our offering for brand marketers.”

“It’s wonderful to have Tom on board,” added Claudia Rosencrantz. “We have so much more coming from Studio 1, so watch this space!”

“I’m excited to join Studio 1 because I have such a deep respect for creative storytellers,” said Tom Boland. “Claudia and Adrian’s creative legacy has redefined the entertainment space many times over. They have introduced the world to brands that resonate with audiences across the globe. I’m looking forward to helping launch more amazing entertainment content.”
