Lauren Jauregui wowed on James Corden's show this week when she performed her haunting solo first single, Expectations, in front of his studio audience.

Taking to Stage 56 in Los Angeles for The Late Late Show with James Corden, Lauren appeared from an arched trellis featuring white roses against a black backdrop with twinkling stars.

Singing live she belted out the ballad looking like a silver screen goddess in a black sequenced ballgown. The backing band were visible during the guitar solo when the studio spotlight lit up the female electric guitarist.

Her rendition of the song captured the song's raw passion perfectly. 

This is the second time this year the starlet has performed on Corden's show as she performed her second single, More Than That, on his show in January, against the same set design.After the show, the well-mannered Lauren tweeted: "Thank youu @latelateshow for having me ❤️✨"
