Hailing from London/Prague, Myo is a band that revels in programming synths, crashing Ableton and battling midi controllers.

Myo’s debut single, 'San Junipero' has, to date, secured over 30,000 streams on Spotify. The equally as impressive follow-up release, 'A Particle' considers the insignificance felt by people living in cities and the feeling of wanting to escape. It’s a perfect track for fans of Kllo and Kudu Blue.

Starting with a minimal electronic soundscape, ‘A Particle’ swiftly builds into a jazz-tinged and vocally melodic adventure of electronica-infused songwriting with sweeping, densely layered harmonies.

Combining the expressive vocals of Sisa Feherova – who is well regarded within the European jazz circles - with the unorthodox style of dance music by producer Jeff Nang, and the angular hip-hop influenced playing of guitarist Jim Daoud, Myo searches for the human touch in the world of programmed dance music.

Their co-conspirators in this search are bass experimenter Pete Bennie and drummer/producer George Bird whose conception of sound and rhythm is constantly in flux between the digital and analogue. The result is a densely layered collage of neo soul guitar, mangled vocal samples and crushed drum loops that underpins what can only be described as melodic and sincere songwriting.
