Little Mix have donned some running clothes for a Sport Relief promotional picture.

The girl group revealed on Thursday (January 16) that they will release the song 'Word Up' as this year's official Sport Relief charity single.

A promotional image of the ladies has now been issued and it sees the quartet wear red running gear as they strike some poses.

The single will be released on March 16 digitally before a physical version goes on sale a day later.

Speaking about the single, Perrie Edwards commented: "We've all seen people push themselves and do incredible things for Sport Relief so it's a dream come true to be releasing the official single this year."

'Word Up' was released by Cameo in 1986 and it has been covered many times since.
