Little Mix thank fans for propelling album to No.1 in the US

Little Mix have thanked their fans after their latest album hit No.1 on the US iTunes chart.

The British group released their second record 'Salute' on Monday (February 4) in the States and it climbed to No.1 on the country's iTunes chart.

It has now dropped to No.2, however, as a result of Broken Bells' 'After The Disco' usurping it at the top.

Jade Thirlwall thanked the band's fans in an Instagram video message for their support and asked them to continue buying the record.

Little Mix meanwhile are due to support Demi Lovato on her Neon Lights tour in North America from February 9.

They will be joined on the bill by Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony.
