Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has said that it was easy to decide that she would marry her One Direction boyfriend Zayn Malik.

The pop couple became engaged seven months ago and Perrie has told Fabulous magazine that accepting Zayn’s proposal was “a no-brainer”.

Despite Perrie and Zayn’s young age – 20 and 21 years old, respectively – the blonde ‘Wings’ singer feels she is following her parents’ example as she said:

“My parents were engaged when they were really young and I'm old-school.”

Although looking forward to their big day, Perrie admitted that Little Mix and One Direction’s hectic schedules have left them no spare time to start planning the wedding.

Edwards explained:

“'Everyone's like, 'Have you planned the hen night? Have you planned this and that?' But we've been so busy, I haven't. I don't want to be into it it half-arsed either. We want to do it properly.”
