Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards, of Little Mix fame, has revealed that long-distance relationships are hard, but she would much rather continue her engagement to One Direction's Zayn Malik than to just give up and be alone.

During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the beauty admitted that time differences are the main issue because it makes contacting each other at appropriate moments really tricky: 

"Time zones are what makes it hard because then when you’re going to sleep, they’re working and vice versa… But I think it already is more special because you miss them so much."

She went onto add that being single would definitely be the easiest option as a pop star on the road, but she wouldn't be happy so is dedicated to putting the time and effort in to make sure her relationship with Malik is the best it can be:

“I think 100% it would be easier if you were single, but I don’t think we’d enjoy being single."

Back in May, the 'Salute' songstress told press that One Direction's new announcement of a 2015 tour means that wedding plans will now be even more delayed: "I'm guessing so, yes... But after that, once it starts dying down a little bit touring-wise, we'll be able to get into it."
