Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has opened up on how she and One Direction's Zayn Malik keep their relationship going strong.

The two singers announced their engagement in 2013 after months of dating.

However, the two Brits are often in other parts of the world as they tour with their respective bands.

Edwards told Key 103 that the trick is constant communication, with the young lovebirds speaking to each other daily.

She said: "We just chat every day really. Even if he was in London we’d probably talk to each other on the phone every day anyway."

With the two groups' schedules looking as busy as ever, however, Edwards and Malik have yet to agree on a wedding date.
