Girl group Little Mix have been dishing out relationship advice.

The ‘Salute’ foursome spoke to Now magazine about the best ways to handle boys and dating.

Jesy Nelson vouched: “I think one key thing is to always make sure the boy loves you more than you love them - then you'll never end up getting as hurt.”

Perrie Edwards, who is engaged to One Direction’s Zayn Malik, agreed with her ‘Move’ band mate saying:

“Like Jesy said, always keep them on their toes - that's the main thing.”

Perrie also opened up about the similarities between herself and her fiancé. She explained: “I'm not a kind of in your face person and neither is Zayn, so we just work. We have a good balance. When we're hyper, it's great, and when we're not, it's great - it's the perfect balance.”

Jade Thirlwall advised playing it cool:

“If a guy invites you for dinner, don't say: 'Yeah definitely! Where are we going? What do you want me to wear?' Just be like: 'Yeah, I've got to find out what I'm doing...' Once you're on the date with him you can be totally yourself because he's obviously got to see what you're like.”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock joked about how to deal with immature men. She pointed out: “You've got to treat boys like children. No offence, but you do.”

When it comes to the fairer sex, Little Mix recently revealed the female artists they would most like to work with are Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj.
