Little Mix's Perrie Edwards: 'My mum used to pay a salon to employ me!'

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards, of Little Mix fame, recently sat down with Vevo for a 'getting to know you' interview and spoke about her family and their love of music, her passion for frozen yoghurt, and her first ever job.

Speaking about what she likes to eat, the 'Salute' beauty explained that she doesn't really have a favourite cuisine and isn't a fussy eater: "My favourite food is everything. I love all different kinds of food."

"I love Chinese, I love Indian... for some reason, every time us Little Mix girls come to America I crave frozen yoghurt. Maybe it's because it's bigger over here... we're addicted to it, it's so good."

Edwards then confessed that she gets her musical flair from her parents: "My mum and dad are both singers, that's how I got my passion for it. I have an older brother who has picked on me all my life, but now we're best friends so it's OK."

She went onto add that her success on 'The X Factor' saved her from a low-paying job in a hair salon:

"I was very young when I auditioned for 'X Factor'. I was just turning 18... was doing performing arts at college and I had a job in a salon, which used to pay me £20 per week. I just found out that my mum was paying the person to pay me £20 to get me out of the house and have a job!"
