The girls of Little Mix are finishing up their highly anticipated third studio album and they have teased that there will soon be a playlist of songs available that inspired this new record's sound. 

Tweeting about the plan this afternoon (January 5), the beauties explained: "Gonna make a playlist of our biggest musical influences for album 3! Who do you wanna see on it? xx Little Mix xx."

During a brief Twitter Q&A today, member Jade Thirlwall was asked if she has been enjoying her Christmas holidays and confessed that she can't wait to be back with the girls working on their new album: "I am, but I'm ready to get back into it. Never wanted this more in my whole life. Want to see you all."

On Friday, Leigh-Anne Pinnock told Mixers that they're currently putting the final touches to the album and hinted that it won't be long before fans hear it:

"Just wanted to let you all know that this year... Album 3 is coming!! You guys have been so patient and we love you for that!! We're currently working and writing with amazing people and there are a few finishing touches to go. Thank you Mixers for your support."
