Little Mix and Sigma ft. Ella Henderson battle it out for UK No.1 single

Girl group Little Mix remain at No.1 in today's UK Singles Chart Official Update with 'Black Magic', but their position is being challenged by Sigma ft. Ella Henderson with 'Glitterball'.

'Black Magic' may currently be leading the way, but 'Glitterball' is just 2,500 combined sales behind at the halfway point so it's looking like a very close race. Sigma previously topped the Official Singles Chart with 2014’s 'Nobody to Love' and 'Changing' ft. Paloma Faith, while Ella Henderson claimed the top spot with her debut release 'Ghost' in June last year.

Meanwhile, Years & Years’ 'Shine' holds firm at No.3, Lost Frequencies’ 'Are You With Me' is at No.4, and David Zowie’s 'House Every Weekend' is at 5.

Former JLS singer Aston Merrygold is heading for his first solo Top 40 entry with new single 'Get Stupid' at No.16, while Foxes is set for a fifth Top 40 with Body Talk at No.17. Shaggy could also be on track to re-enter the Top 40 for the first time in almost 13 years with new single 'I Need Your Love' ft. Mohombi, Faydee & Costi, at No.39. Finally, former chart-topper Ellie Goulding’s 'Love Me Like You Do' climbs 11 places to re-enter the Top 40 today, landing at 35.
