Little Mix on being a pop group: 'We don't want to put out any old s**t'

'Black Magic' hitmakers Little Mix will release their new album 'Get Weird' in early November and they have spoken out about the struggles of being a pop group.

Speaking to Sydney's Daily Telegraph recently, the beauties explained that it's difficult to be respected as a pop group because people tend to be dismissive of you before you've had time to prove yourself:

"Pop is hard. We don't want to put out any old s**t."

They added: "We want to put out quality tracks. A lot of stigma comes with girl bands, people think you just sing and prance around. No one really knows we actually write our own music."

Little Mix have just announced details of several album signing events that will take place in the USA at the beginning of next month and the dates as well as locations can be seen here:

  • 11/3 – Hollywood, CA | Performance & Album Signing @ Hard Rock Café
  • 11/5 – Trumbull, CT | Performance & Album Signing
  • 11/6 – West Nyack, NY | Performance & Album Signing
