Little Mix's Perrie: 'We didn't write 'Hair' about Zayn Malik'

Girl group Little Mix recently unveiled a great break-up anthem called 'Hair' and member Perrie Edwards has now revealed to Ryan Seacrest that it's not about her ex-fiancé, Zayn Malik.

When asked if the song was inspired by her split from Malik, the beauty confessed that 'Hair' was actually written before they had broken up and the media just loves to assume things:

"People like to write a lot of crap." Edwards went onto admit that people just assumed that's what the song was about because of what's been happening in her personal life: "Basically you say something and it gets taken out of context and then it makes a headline, but what they didn't work out was we wrote the album before that happened."

The 'Black Magic' hitmakers will release their highly anticipated new studio album 'Get Weird' tomorrow (November 6) and will take their new record on the road next spring. The tour is set to kick off with a concert at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena on March 13.
