Little Mix on male attention: 'We get a few wolf whistles which is lovely'

Little Mix have told the Daily Star that they get little male attention, just the odd wolf whistle.

Jesy Nelson admitted: "We don't get that much male attention. We get a few wolf whistles which is lovely and then backstage we're all like: 'Oh my god, did you hear that wolf whistle?' But honestly, that's about it!"

However, that could change as their fan base is slowly growing in the boy department, Perrie Edwards revealed:

"Our audience has changed now. It used to be just a lot of young girls but now there are a lot of boys listening to our stuff."

Jade Thirwall added that it was because they "fancy us now", to which Edwards quipped:

"Well, I hope they think we're hot!"

The band's latest album, 'Get Weird', reflects the girls' inner strength growing as they get older and sees the band embracing their sexuality. Edwards explained that they do have to remember that their main fan base still consists of very young girls who are too young to know about that kind of empowerment, she said:

"Of course we have to compensate for everyone on the album as we do have young fans. But we are women now and we want to talk about different things.

"Like ADIDAS, which stands for All Day I Dream About Sex. It's a naughty song but it's sexual innuendos rather than just singing: 'Let's have sex'. Little kids can sing it and not know what it means."

'ADIDAS' is the tenth track on Little Mix's third studio album, 'Get Weird'.
