Little Mix waited years for Brits performance: 'It's been our dream'

Little Mix say performing at this year's Brit Awards will be a "dream" come true.

The girl group have just been added to the bill for this year's ceremony, which is taking place at London's O2 Arena on February 24.

It will be the first time the quartet have performed at the awards ceremony.

It seems to have had a big impact on the girls, with singer Jesy Nelson telling fans on Instagram that she was left in tears after hearing the news.

She said: "So last night we got told that this is happening! I cannot tell you how much I sobbed like a rite old cry baby.

"It has been our dream for 4 years to perform at the Brits and I cannot actually believe we are now finally doing it!!! We have the most insane fans and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys!

"We love you so bloody much and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store."

Little Mix will also be hoping to win their first Brit Award at the February ceremony.

Their song 'Black Magic' is up for British single and British artist video of the year.
