Little Mix have thrown their weight behind Rihanna in her chart battle with Zayn Malik.

The former One Direction star is currently leading the UK singles chart with his track 'Pillowtalk'.

Rihanna's new effort is No.3 at at the half-way stage, but the tune wasn't pushed with full promotional backing.

Malik used to be engaged to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards before things went sour last year.

Speaking on Twitter, the group's Leigh-Anne Pinnock didn't beat around the bush by proclaiming Little Mix's support for Rihanna.

She wrote: "Currently obsessed with #ANTI RiRi why do u do this to me?

"If 'Work' isn't number 1 there is no justice in the world..that is all..."
