Little Mix give advice to fans who might be struggling to come out

'Black Magic' hitmakers Little Mix recently sat down for an interview with Notion magazine and opened up about encouraging fans who might be struggling to come out to family and friends.

Member Jade Thirlwall explained that parents, families and friends usually have an inkling so it's best to try and open up about what's going on: "Probably 80% of the time, they will already know, they’re just waiting for you to come out and say it. If he or she is in a close family, they will support you, they love you unconditionally."

Songstress Perrie Edwards added that the best thing you can do is just embrace who you truly are and learn to love yourself: "And you can’t change who you are anyway, so you’ve just got to embrace it, regardless of whether they support you or not, you’ve got to be you."

The girls recently told Capital FM that their track 'Secret Love Song' seems to have inspired some fans who were struggling: "We've had loads of people say that it's helped them almost to come out - to say that they're gay - and that's an incredible thing. It's so inspiring when we hear these stories from the music we're putting out."
