Little Mix cried during struggle to make third album

'Black Magic' hitmakers Little Mix have revealed that writing their third album was a real challenge and one that ended up wearing them down.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine recently, the girls admitted that they initially struggled with writing their latest album. Member Jesy Nelson explained:

"We got stuck in a rut. The album wasn't good enough. It took us a year, locked in a tiny room, to write it. It was horrid, we cried so much. There was one song we wrote seven different choruses for and it still wasn't right. Leigh-Anne is the most positive person in the group and even she was getting down. We hit rock bottom."

Little Mix, meanwhile, are currently on the UK leg of their Get Weird tour and will perform next tonight (March 24) in Manchester. They also have to visit London, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Nottingham and Newcastle on the extensive run of dates.
