Little Mix have been confirmed to perform at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball.

The girl group will perform at the event for the third year in a row on June 11 at London's Wembley Stadium.

Jesy Nelson commented: "I feel like we always like to be different and do something that surprises everyone and we’ve got a really good trick up our sleeves!” 

Jade Thirlwall added: "It’s mental, it’s very surreal but doing the Balls is one of our favourite things."

Other names confirmed so far for the event include Nathan Sykes, Flo Rida, Mike Posner, Sigala and Craig David.

Tickets for the Summertime Ball will go on sale from 8am UK time on Thursday (April 28).
