Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall has spoken openly about her love for The Struts' Jed Elliot.

The two music stars have been dating for a number of months and it seems things are getting serious.

Writing on Instagram on Sunday (May 15), Thirlwall wished her man happy birthday and gushed with admiration in a rare outpouring of love.

She said: "Just got off my flight to Japan so I'm a tad late.

"Happy Birthday @jedstruts I really, really wish I was there to celebrate with you but I guess a soppy drunken Tokyo karaoke video in approximately 24 hours from now will have to do. I love you petal."

Little Mix meanwhile are currently in Japan as their Get Weird tour goes global.
