Little Mix fans show support for singer after 'restaurant assault'

Little Mix fans have rallied around singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock after she was reportedly attacked in a restaurant in London after a night out.

The Sun reports that the Brit got caught in an argument between her friend and another diner last month. They say a man ultimately walked over to the singer and slapped her in the face. Fans have rallied around the star, sending her messages of support on Twitter.

A spokesperson for London's Metropolitan Police meanwhile confirmed: "Police were called on Monday, 28 November at around 04:50 hours by a woman who stated that a man had threatened to assault her and had assaulted another woman she was with. The suspect made off prior to police arrival. Officers conducted a search of the area and did not locate the suspect.”
